I knew this was going to be a difficult WOD for me as my overhead squats are the worst. Trying to squat with that bar over my head is so freaking hard. I got my box out for the squat part but once I got to the box (as I always tend to do) I sat down and couldn't get back up. I just struggle with these. So that part of my WOD got changed to front squats and instead of using just the bar I ended up using 55lbs.
One of these days I'll learn to keep quiet as I made the mistake of saying ring pulls are not hard. Little did I know (because nobody has ever told me) my feet were to be so many feet in front of the rings.
Lately, it's gotten difficult to find ways to keep motivated. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion and just getting slower each day. I love seeing my fellow CF folks improve and get better and achieve such great accomplishments. I just wish I could get some of this stuff figured and achieve some of my goals. The coach tonight does have a special way of approaching me with ideas and when he modifies part of WOD for me he does it in a way where I don't feel like I'm being screwed. Sometimes it's hard to watch others achieve their goals and while happy for them only to wish that it was me making improvements right along beside of them.
