While I'm glad I went up on my front squat by 15lbs. I am so tired of these max lifts. I feel like everyone wants to outdo the other and I just hate that kind of competitiveness. Almost makes the cheering on others seem fake. One person didn't want to put their numbers up but they needed to and the coach did it for her. I just want to go hide in a corner away from everyone when doing lifts. Not to mention I hate knowing how much weight is on the bar. I get psyched out knowing. But everyone else seems obsessed with wanting to know. And this is one subject I don't even dare bring up to a coach especially one of them because they all love the numbers game as I call it with the competitiveness.
I was able to get to the gym a little early and ran a mile. My time wasn't great but it was 18:34. I was hoping to be a lot closer to 15 minutes but I will get there. I still don't like running. Too much time to think and as soon as I hit the pavement I was in tears. Just being overwhelmed by not losing any thing the last 3 months is just too stressful.
