Grasping at Straws

Nutts

For time: 29:55

10 Handstand Push-ups
15 Deadlifts (250, 175#)
25 Box Jumps (30, 24″)
50 Pull-ups
100 Wall Balls (20, 14#)
200 Double-unders
400m run (45, 25#)

I really didn't quite grasp those push ups from a box.  Never figured out how to bend my elbows.  Oh well... I tried.

Deadlifts were heavy at 135lbs.

Box jumps were just 1 45lb. weight going as fast as I can.  At least I didn't stop during those.

Thought those wall balls were going to be the death of me.  My butt only hit that target a few times.  So much to work on with those from my butt hitting the target to not putting my elbows on my legs.  Then there's the whole stay on my heels thing.  DAMN!!! that's hard.  I spent a lot of time focusing on keeping my heels back.

Jump ropes are always torture.  But I'll get there with these one day.

And that run...

So I ventured into the question of doing 2 WOD's in a day.  It was recommended to do certain things at home.  I can agree with that with the only exception of running.  I don't think I can convince myself to run by myself early in the morning.  I'm not taking my dogs with me due to the number of cats that are left out in the neighborhood.  I don't run fast enough to tag along with those that do run.  I have to figure this one out.  Besides I'm just not that self motivated but am trying to be.  If I was, I wouldn't be fighting this battle of losing weight for 30 years and then some.

And that dreaded weigh in... I have no idea of my numbers other than they weren't good.  I didn't even ask.  Probably better that I don't know the numbers.  I just know after 3 months of trying and making some improvements in what I'm eating and still not seeing any results whether the scale or my clothes I'm just beyond frustrated right now.  Just grasping at straws to try to stay motivated and keep going.
